Coach Sara - My "Why?"

Why do I do what I do? Because I believe in humanity. I believe in the transformative power of change, and I believe that, together, we can do the really hard work.
From a young age, I have always wanted to help others. I saw myself as a healthcare professional and then a teacher, but life had its own plans for me—a winding road filled with obstacles, self-doubt, and moments when I felt utterly lost. Yet, each challenge taught me invaluable lessons. I learned resilience, the importance of moving outside of one’s comfort zone, and the realization that none of us can or should do this alone.

So what is my why? I became a coach because I want to be the person I needed during my toughest moments. Someone who believes in you when you’re struggling to believe in yourself. Someone who helps you see possibilities when all you see are roadblocks. Someone who reminds you that even the smallest step forward is progress.
But this isn’t just about me or even just about coaching. It’s about us. Right now, in this moment, we’re facing challenges that are bigger than any one of us. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, to let fear creep in and diminish our sense of agency.
But here’s the truth: we are powerful.
Each of us has the capacity to create incredible change—in our own lives and in the world around us. And when we come together, that power is not only amplified; it’s undeniable.
That’s why I created the THRIVE group coaching methodology. It’s a framework designed not only for individual transformation but for collective progress. In these groups, people from all walks of life, working on unique and deeply personal changes, come together to support one another in their journeys. We hold one another accountable, celebrate wins, and hold space for the hard days. We learn from each other, lean on each other, and grow as a community.
Because community matters. In a world that can often feel isolating, finding a group of like-minded individuals who are willing to lock arms and move forward together can be life-changing. Together, we remind each other that our struggles are universal. Together, we reinforce our strengths and accomplishments. And together, we prove that fear doesn’t get to dictate our future.
So, if you’re feeling stuck, scared, or simply ready to take the next step, know this: You don’t have to go it alone.
Whether you join a THRIVE coaching cohort, seek out a coach, or simply lean into your community, know that there are people ready to stand beside you, cheering you on every step of the way.
This is a scary moment, yes. But it’s also a powerful one. Because with courage, connection, and a little help from each other, we can turn fear into fuel and make great changes—in our lives and in the world. Let’s lock arms and stand united. The time to THRIVE is now.
