
whaT IS COACHING?
Traditional inquiry based coaching puts you firmly in the driver seat. It is the empowering choice for someone who is working through a complex issue.
Coaching relies on the belief that you are whole and healthy and best positioned to understand your circumstances and what is needed to successfully change them with skillful prompting to help you make adjustments from patterns of thinking and aciotn that aren't serving you.
When you're ready to make a change, initiate the relationship with a problem or topic to solution. Typically, this is a larger issue that will be worked on across several sessions, and the topic and goals for each session will be defined by the you at the start of that session. The work is fluid and can change as needed and as the circumstances dictate.
While ultimate accountability, control and responsibility always reside with you, the Coach will provide insightful questioning, typically leveraging many coaching models, and guidance to help assess your progress periodically, reaffirm or reexamine your goals and choices as they relate to that progress, and together we will create a path that leads to your desired outcome and honors the agreements we have made with one another.
