Available to kids as young as 10, CISV is non-political and non-denominational, evolving from a firm conviction that lasting peace is possible.

Tunç is a lifelong volunteer for CISV, a global organization with a mission to educate and inspire action for a more just and peaceful world. His journey in the organization started when he participated in an international program at 16-years old representing his home country Turkey. His CISV experiences have monumentally shaped who he has become as a person. His orientation with CISV values and principles was instrumental in making a pivotal change in his life to become a global citizen. At 52, he still volunteers for the CISV New York Chapter and serves on Board of Directors. In his professional life, Tunç works as a software application developer for the New York City Department of Education’s Information Technology Division. He has 2 daughters. Both have participated in multiple CISV programs following their fathers' passion.
